Intec's CIP System
To meet the demanding sanitation and Food Safety requirements, all INTEC Spirals offer High Pressure CIP Systems as well as Belt Washing Systems. The CIP includes Spryaing Pipes (typically enter through the side of the enclosure), special 360 degree rotating nozzles, pneumatic values for each set of 2 to 3 spraying pipes, manifold system, foaming unit and high pressure booster pump. Each rotating nozzle station cleans a specific area of the spiral as well as the interior of the enclosure. Pneumatic valves are opened individually so that only one station is operational at a time. The wash squence and timing is all adjustable per station within the PLC program. Once pneumatic valve is connected to a verticle spry bar inside of the drum, which sprays outward through holes in the drum (one per tier). One pneumatic valve is also connected to a vertical spray bar located on one of the vertical supports of the spiral cage (one nozzle per tray) and sprays inward towards the drum.
